GISM Doctoral Degree
We are planning to launch a Ph.D. partnership in collaboration with a United States Institution in Global Information Security Management (GISM). Our team is currently screening institutions that could meet this requirement.
2024GISM Bachelor's Degree
Our team is in discussions with potential partners in Asia to launch a Global Information Security Management (GISM) Bachelor of Science degree. We expect to make an annoucement on July 4, 2023.
2023Master's Degree Launched
IRI in partnership with Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CULS) is jointly teaching the first batch of Master's students in the Global Information Systems Management (GISM) program.
2022Academic Program Prioritized
We developed a Global Information Security Management (GISM) curriculum based on the emerging trends in education and industry. The first part will be a Master's degree in Europe, followed by a Bachelor's program in Asia, and a Doctoral program in the United States.
2021Educational Programs Proposed
IRI and a global consortium of proactive thought leaders worked together to develop an academic impact strategy. The result was a multi-phase certification and degree programs to meet the evolving need of our global knowledge and skilled workers alike.
2020Established in San Diego, California
A team of subject matter experts from diverse competency ranging from Naval Special Operations to Academia started the non-profit research think tank, Intelligence Research Institute (IRI), to enhance the global education, training, and capacity building efforts in Security, Technology, and Intelligence. The IRI Board of Directors unanimously appointed Dr. Akshay Pottathil as President.
